Director’s Welcome

allySince opening to the public in 1975, Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts has become an integral part of our community's cultural life, presenting an exhilarating variety of live performances, high-quality educational programming for students and adults, as well as beloved community events such as Sunday A'Fair and the Scottsdale Arts Festival.

Among the fall highlights of the Center's 40th season are performances by Cuban jazz master Chucho Valdés, acclaimed singer-songwriters Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, Tony and Emmy Award winners Alan Cumming and Martin Short, and the Australian vocal sensation The TEN Tenors.

We are also thrilled to launch our innovative new partnership with the Scottsdale International Film Festival, now in its 15th year. Please save the date for the Film Festival's opening night at the Center on Nov. 5, and a full schedule of exciting and groundbreaking cinema Nov. 6-9 at Harkins Shea 14.

Thank you for being part of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts — we look forward to celebrating our 40th season with you!

Ally Haynes-Hamblen, Interim Director
