Accessibility

Trouble Hearing? Trouble Seeing? Special seating?

People change and needs change. We honor that by offering a range of performance accommodations.

Assisted Listening – a small headset amplifies the sounds onstage. Always available at the box office.

American Sign Language – Order tickets and request service two weeks in advance and any performance can be interpreted in American Sign Language.

Live Audio Description – Losing vision, low vision, no vision? A small device worn in the ear provides a live description of what’s happening onstage. Order tickets and request service two weeks in advance and any performance can be Audio Described.

Open Captioning – Like television captions, the spoken words from the stage are displayed on a screen in the theatre. Open Captioning available on many performances. Check with box office about selected events.

Wheelchair – locations and companion seats are available. Please mention your request for wheelchair seating when ordering tickets.

If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail Ally R. Haynes-Hamblen, Theater Manager at allyh@sccarts.org or call 480-874-4681.
