Order a Series

Purchase tickets for at least four (4) different performances...and pay the series price.  You don't have to order the same number of tickets for each performance in your series--and you may order up to eight (8) additional tickets for each performance.  There is a $7.50 handling fee for series orders in lieu of the $2.50 per ticket handling fee.

(Please note:  Offer applies to your initial series order only; tickets added at a later date are subject to the "single event" price.)

Exchange Privileges

Series subscribers may exchange their series tickets for another event in the same year's season (of equal or lesser value, subject to availability).  Tickets must be presented to the Scottsdale Center for the Perfroming Arts' box office no later than 48 hours prior to the date on the ticket.  There is a $6 service charge per ticket (waived for members of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts).  No ticket refunds.

There are no refunds or exchanges for non-series tickets.

Handling Fee

A $2.50 per-ticket handling fee is added to all orders (telephone, fax, mail and in-person).  The handling fee is waived for members of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art at the President's Club level and above. 

Group Sales

Come with family and friends--or bring a group from your business, civic or religious organization.  A $3 discount per ticket is offered for groups of 15 or more (subject to restrictions and limitations).  Handling fee charges apply to all group sales purchases.  Call 480-994-ARTS (2787) for information.

Student Rush

Students may purchase half-price tickets 72 hours before performances (subject to availability, limit on per student).  Must present valid student I.D.  No phone orders.

Performance Cancellations

All dates and artists are subject to change.  When a performance is canceled or rescheduled, tickets may be exchanged or refunded.

House Policies

• Programs and artists are subject to change.
• Entry into the Virginia G. Piper Theater, Stage 2, Theater 4301 and Scottsdale Center for the Arts Amphitheater requires a paid admission for each individual age three and older.
• The use of cameras, cellular phones, audible pagers and recording devices are not permitted in the Virginia G. Piper Theater, Stage 2, Theater 4301 or the Scottsdale Center for the Arts Amphitheater.
• Late arrivals will be kept outside the theater and seated at the House manager's discretion.
• Behavior which interferes with the performance or disrupts the enjoyment of the audience may result in eviction without refund of the ticket price.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Amphitheater

The Scottsdale Center for the Arts presents "Concerts Under the Stars" on the lawn located between the Scottsdale Civic Center Library and Scottsdale City Hall, just a short stroll from the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.

• Gates open at 6:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).
• Chairs, pillows and blankets are welcome.
• Food and beverages (including beer and wine) are for sale on the amphitheater grounds.  Food and beverages (with the exception of water in plastic containers) may not be brought into the amphitheater.
• Pets, skateboards, roller skates and bicycles are not permitted.
• Children age 12 and under are half price.  Children age 2 and under are admitted free.
• In case of inclement weather, amphitheater events may be moved to an indoor venue (either on or off the premises), rescheduled for another date, or canceled.  Every effort is made to inform the public of such changes via announcements to local radio stations.  However, if in doubt, please call the Scottsdale Center for the Arts box office at 480-994-ARTS (2787) for current information.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchair locations and companion seats are available.  Please mention your request for wheelchair seating when purchasing tickets, on your order form, or contact the box office for more information.

Infrared Assisted-Listening Systems

Infrared Assisted-Listening Systems (wireless headsets) are available at no charge from the box office for performances in the Virginia G. Piper Theater, Stage 2 and Theater 4301.

American Sign Language Interpretation and Audio Description

American Sign Language interpretation and Audio Description performances are available.  Please consult our calendar of events for a listing.  Interpreter arrangements may be made upon request with one-week advance notice; call 480-874-4623 or fax 480-874-4699 (attention LJA).  TDD 480-874-4694.
