The Center Inner Circle is a membership program for people who share our passion for the performing arts. Program benefits are designed to provide our premier members with a higher
degree of engagement and involvement in performances and events and a behind-the-scenes look at the artists and creative processes that inspire us. Join us for these exciting events and others that will be announced during the 2006-07 season.
Membership in the Center Inner Circle supports the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' dynamic multidisciplinary performances and nationally-recognized arts education and outreach programs that touch the lives of more than 35,000 children from throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area each year. Members of the Center Inner Circle receive priority seating (when available) and personal ticketing services. Most Inner Circle events are complimentary for members and their guests. Some events may include a charge to cover expenses such as meals.

Membership in the Inner Circle is $2,500 per year. Your membership contribution directly supports the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and its programs. Most importantly, your support helps fund important arts education programs for the youth of our community - programs like Student Performances, after-school arts programs at local Boys & Girls Clubs, outreach to the Gila River and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Communities, summer camps, and master classes for high school students. With continuing cut-backs in arts funding for the public schools, our efforts – and your support – are increasingly vital to making the arts part of every child’s education and development.
The Center Inner Circle provides a fun way to get together with others who share your passion and enthusiasm for the arts. Each year we create new programs that allow for dynamic exchange of ideas, conversations with leading artists and arts professionals, and travel adventures to different cities for exciting performance experiences. We also hope that as a member of the Inner Circle, you will make new friends, share your thoughts and ideas with us, and become even more involved in the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Help us launch the Center’s 2006-07 season with a special Inner Circle dinner at Fleming’s Prime Steaks and Wine Bar in north Scottsdale. Enjoy an engaging evening with friends who also love the performing arts, as we look to celebrate the start of another magnificent season.
Inner Circle members are invited to have lunch with the talented actors starring in L.A. Theatre Works’ touring production of The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. Hear about their experiences bringing to life the characters of Herman Wouk’s Pulitzer prize-winning book.

Bounce! Glide! Fly in space! Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at this cutting-edge dance company. Ground-breaking choreographer Brenda Angiel will host a special open rehearsal and discuss her unique perspective on movement and contemporary dance. Following the program, Inner Circle members will meet the dancers at a dessert reception.

Urban Bush Women founder Jawole Willa Jo Zollar will be the guest of honor at this special dinner celebrating the ensemble’s 20th anniversary. Whether you’ve followed the Urban Bush Women’s many Scottsdale performances or are being introduced to them for the first time, you’ll enjoy hearing about the inspirations and cultural influences behind Jawole’s bold and life-affirming work.

Join us on stage for a private luncheon with the Valley’s favorite pianist, Jeffrey Siegel. The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and its patrons have a very special bond with Mr. Siegel. He has performed his popular Keyboard Conversations® series at the Center for 28 years - the longest run
of any Center artist. Mr. Siegel’s theme for his 2006-07 series is Four Great Romantics! so Valentine’s Day is a perfect time for a “conversation” with this very special friend.

The Center is pleased to be a commissioning partner of The Baseball Plays, an exciting project featuring nine short works by established playwrights about America’s favorite pastime. Inner Circle members will meet the play’s director and members of the cast and discover what it takes to develop new theatrical work for touring.

American Express Concerts Under the Stars Series in the Amphitheater
New this year - Now, there is no need to bring a blanket or tote a chair to the Center’s outdoor performances.
