Formed at San Francisco State University’s International Center for the Arts, the Generations Band is a multi-generational, all-star ensemble that brings together legendary jazz musicians and the brightest young stars of today. This innovative, spirited group features the talents of two NEA Jazz Masters – drummer Jimmy Cobb and instrumentalist Jimmy Heath – along with bassist Ray Drummond, pianist David Hazeltine, trumpeter Terrell Stafford and saxophonists Eric Alexander and Andrew Speight.
