Hailed by The New York Times as “an artist who means every note he plays,” internationally acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel has presented his celebrated Keyboard Conversations from coast to coast, including more than 30 seasons in Scottsdale. His brilliantly polished concert-with-commentary format combines captivating remarks with world-class performances of legendary masterpieces of the piano repertoire – and concludes with a fast-paced Q-and-A session.

Exhilarating Dance Music … for the Ears! features vivacious and poetic Waltzes of Chopin, the satircal Polka of Shostakovich, the lyrical Polka of Smetena and the hilarious Circus Polka of Stravinsky, written to be danced by a group of elephants! Also on the program are the old-fashioned Tango of Issac Albeniz and the modern, sensuous Tango of the popular Argentine composer Astor Piazzola; a Funeral March of Beethoven; and the most familiar Wedding March of Mendelssohn in a stupendous piano arrangement by Vladimir Horowitz.

“Jeffrey Siegel has everything: massive technique, musical sensitivity and character, wide tonal resources, immense reserves of power, and the ability to communicate.”
Los Angeles Times

The concert also features Keyboard in the Sky,™ a video projection above the stage that enables the audience to see the pianist’s hands moving across the keyboard in real time from any seat in the theater.
