Known as “The Sun of Latin Music,” pianist Eddie Palmieri has a musical career that spans more than 50 years as a bandleader of salsa and Latin jazz orchestras. His charismatic power and bold innovative drive have earned him nine Grammy Awards as well as the NEA Jazz Master honor. Palmieri and his toe-tapping orchestra are joined by vocalist Herman Olivera, one of the great soneros, for a soul-shaking night of fiery, red-hot salsa.
