About This Event

Returning for his 38th season in Scottsdale, acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel makes the joy of music accessible to audiences of all ages. His brilliantly engaging concerts with commentary combine captivating remarks with world-class performances of masterpieces of the piano repertoire – and conclude with a fast-paced Q-and-A session.

A Few of Your Favorite Things is a hit parade of familiar, well-loved classical favorites, such as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Waltzes of Chopin and Brahms, Preludes of Rachmaninoff and Gershwin, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody and more. Siegel will share the stories behind these beloved works before performing each one.

“… a pianist with a bravura technique and a big, gorgeous sound … and when the artist himself offers the inside scoop, the musical experience becomes vastly more personal.” – The Denver Post

Concert may feature Keyboard in the Sky™ video-display technology.

Classical music concerts at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts are supported in part by the Dayton Fowler Grafman Endowment for Classical Music.
