Event Labor

All labor requirements are determined by the Scottsdale Cultural Council operations department. Estimates are based on past experiences of a similar nature. Actual cost will be determined in the final post invoice. Security staff is required for events held before or after normal business hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Saturday and noon – 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Event Ticketing Services

All public events must use the Center’s box office
A maximum $2.50 per ticket facility fee is applied to all tickets
and paid for by the ticket-buying customer.
     
  General Admission $125 Set-up fee + 6 percent gross ticket sales and 5 percent credit card transactions
  Reserved Seating $250 Set-up fee + 6 percent gross ticket sales and 5 percent credit card transactions
  Consignment Tickets $.30 per ticket
 

Technical Labor

Please Note: A minimum of three technicians must be present for all events in the Virginia G. Piper Theater and one technician in Stage 2, for a minimum of four hours per technician. Minimum day-rate may apply for all contract labor.

Merchandise & Concessions

     
 
  • All merchandise is subject to a 20- to 25-percent commission from gross sales.
  • Food booths are subject to a commission of $15 per hour of operation.
  • Theater concessions are available, sales must exceed $350 or there will be a $150 bartender fee.
