The Valley’s premier evening race, the Night Run for the Arts is a fun, family-friendly event that welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Highlights include the 8K Race through downtown Scottsdale, the Three-Mile Fun Run/Walk and the Art Stroll, a docent-guided walking tour of the sculptures on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. The event culminates with an outdoor party featuring a concert by Big Nick and the Gila Monsters and an awards ceremony. Food and beverages are available for purchase. This year’s Night Run for the Arts also features a free, mini-eco fair with activities for kids.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Noon–4 p.m. – Early On-Site Registration and Packet Pick-Up
5 p.m.–7 p.m. – Eco Fair and Late On-site Registration
7 p.m. – Three-Mile Fun Run/Walk and Art Stroll (start time)
8 p.m. – 8K Race (start time)
9 p.m. – Award Ceremony and Concert

LOCATION
All events start and finish at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall Amphitheater, 75th Street and Main Street in downtown Scottsdale.

REGISTRATION
All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and may register individually or as part of a team.

COST
$18 (before March 31)
$20 (April 1 – May 2)
$25 (May 3)

AWARDS
The top three male and female finishers in each of the following categories of the 8K Race will receive awards: ages 14 and younger; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and older.

Presented by SRP Earthwise Energy, the Night Run for the Arts benefits youth education and outreach programs at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The official media sponsor of the event is 98.7 The Peak. The race is managed by Red Rock Company.
