Don't miss the 38th annual Scottsdale Arts Festival, which takes place in downtown Scottsdale on the beautifully sculptured gardens of the Scottsdale Civic Center. The main attraction is juried, gallery-quality fine arts and crafts featured within an attractive and sophisticated Cultural Center. The Festival also features demonstrations, performance art, a selection of quality food and beverages, plus live entertainment and educational family art activities. Proceeds from the Festival support the art programs of the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Volunteering for the Scottsdale Arts Festival is a great way to share your enthusiasm for the arts.

Volunteer Benefits

Full-Day Shifts
To allow for easy parking and to immerse yourself in the Festival experience, we schedule full-day shifts. Volunteers will receive a one-hour lunch break.

Come-Back Pass
Use this pass to come back to the Festival and experience the entire event at your leisure.
- Training
All volunteers, new and returning, are required to attend one of the training sessions to provide you with all the necessary details and logistics of the Scottsdale Arts Festival.
Admissions
Be the first to greet Festival guests. Volunteers need a smiling face and friendly attitude to collect admission fees, distribute Festival programs, answer questions and make guests feel welcome.
Beverage Booths
Volunteers who enjoy a fast-paced environment are needed to sell food, lemonade, soft drinks and alcohol. Must enjoy working with the public and be at least 19 years of age.
Hospitality Tents
Meet VIPs and artists from around the country while refreshing food and beverages at hospitality tents.
Imagine Nation (Kid's area)
Volunteers who like to make kids smile are needed here. This area features interactive art activities for kids. We need your help to staff activity stations and ensure kids have a great time.
Membership Sales
Are you a people person? Then this job is for you. We need your energy and enthusiasm to let all non-members know about this terrific opportunity and sign them up right at the gate!
Online Art Auction
Do you buy or sell items through online auctions? Volunteers who are knowledgeable about online auctions assist guests in bidding for a work of art, graciously donated by our Festival artists. Volunteers work with guests to select a work of art, sign up for the auction and bid at computer terminals set up at the Festival Auction headquarters.
