About This Event

A public reading of original work will take place in the SMoCA Lounge on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m.

We each have a story to tell — here’s a chance to tell yours. This 10-part workshop for writers of all experience levels (including none!) will help you get your tales from the head to the page with prompts, exercises and sharing. The class will also cover topics, including blogging and publishing.

  1. Hi Amy,
This looks like a great offering. I will be out of town for the Sept. 25th and Oct. 16th sessions. I’m wondering how missing those two classes will impact the time? Also, will you be offering this again in 2019?
    Thank you!
    Victoria

    • Hi, Ilene
We do not have plans for an evening version at this time. If you happen to be a mother, there is another workshop Amy teaches called Mothers Who Write, and it is in the evening at Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix.

  2. Hi! I am really interested in this class but the website says “sold out”. Is there a waiting list? I responded as soon as I got the notice and I have left 2 messages. I would appreciate it if someone could respond at your earliest convenience.

    Thank you so much,.

    Sherry

    • Hi, Sherrill
We just added a way to get on the waiting list on the event page. It will take you to Laura Hales email address.
