Dream a Little Dream
The Palast Orchester was founded in 1986 by award-winning Max Raabe and a group of fellow music students who six years later found themselves on the German charts with their song “Kein Schwein ruft mich an” (“Nobody cares to ever give me a call”). The Berlin-based band pays tribute to the high style and musical glory of the 1920s and 1930s.
Raabe and his group´s commitment to the music of the 1920s and ‘30s has received various accolades, including the ECHO award for their CD Charming Weill and the Order of Merit of the State of Berlin in 2012. Max Raabe & Palast Orchester tour regularly in the United States and Canada and have performed in China, Japan, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Poland, Holland, France, England, Israel, Scandinavia and the Baltics.
