About This Event

The extraordinary career of Richard Rodgers covered more than six decades and produced musical theater gems including “My Funny Valentine” from Babes in Arms and “If I Loved You” from Carousel. During all of these years, Rodgers wrote with only two men — Larry Hart and Oscar Hammerstein, collaborations that defined Rodgers’ creative life.

Rob Kapilow and Broadway veterans Sally Wilfert and Michael Winther explore some of the most famous musical theater songs ever written to help listeners understand what makes the music of Rodgers and Hart and Rodgers and Hammerstein great.
